Our Beginnings
It all started back in the Summer of 2002 when John Raddatz was called in to assist Coldwell Banker and The Cornerstone Group with sales and marketing for a mixed-use development in Richfield, MN. Kensington Park would later become a 96-unit, 4-story project, blending residential condos with 27,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.
The experience of being on site at Kensington Park inspired John, who saw the opportunity to provide strategic assistance for companies pursuing their development goals. From sales and marketing to finance, design and build, it would always come down to assembling the right “ingredients” - to create the perfect stir.

Our first “Second Call”
Stir, LLC was officially formed on May 8, 2004, and soon after, received its first “Second Call” - setting our standard of excellence right from the start. The Cornerstone Group selected Stir as their construction coordinator alongside JE Dunn Construction for a new multi-family development called The Mist on Lake Minnetonka.
Financed by Prudential and designed by Cuningham, this $41M, 116-unit, 3-story project came into turbulent times, marked by declining condo sales. It was an important early test for Stir that paid off in the end, with The Mist on Lake Minnetonka becoming a very successful market rate apartment building.

John Raddatz
FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
John founded Stir in 2004 with a vision to make a compelling, positive impact on the real estate world by helping clients achieve their specific development goals.
For over 20 years, John has been building and renovating properties across the country - in partnership with both municipalities and private funding entities. His experience spans commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, educational, healthcare, mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects.
Prior to founding Stir, John worked for over a decade in the printing, marketing and design industry. He founded and ran Performance Print & Design for 11 years before overseeing its merger with another company out of St. Louis Park, MN.

Frank T. Clark, LEED AP, CCIM
STRATEGY
Frank has over 20 years of real estate experience, covering office, land, multi-family, warehouse, adaptive reuse, and retail sectors. He is adept at leading teams through all aspects of projects including site selection and acquisition, due diligence, municipal approvals, design and construction coordination, financing, leasing, and sales negotiations.
Previously, Frank has worked on behalf of Stahl Construction, The Ackerberg Group, Hines, and Pulte Homes, holding positions in leadership and management.
Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University, and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He serves on the Advisory Board for the Urban Land Institute and as an Executive Board Member (President 2021) of CCIM Minnesota Dakotas Chapter.
